There’s a lot of things you can do to improve your game design speed and part of that is creating your prototypes faster. If you can focus on actually playing your games, you’ll make a lot more progress than if you’re stuck on making your prototypes.
This month is all about tokens! I’ve done a variety of things in the past; card stock, printing on regular paper and using soft foam, but my favorite is buying circle tokens and labels and getting a set of new tokens made in minutes.

I love this, as it involves no cutting, just a quick print and sticking to the tokens. The circles have a great tactile feel, but are still lightweight and relatively inexpensive.
